MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES

Sometimes referred to as dual-diagnosis or co-mormidity, the co-existence of both mental health and substance use disorders are commonly referred to as co-0ccurring conditions. All are interrelated and integrated pieces of the addiction puzzle. There are times when mental health issues are the primary diagnosis and other times when chemical dependency is the primary diagnosis, but for the majority of people who seek help from alcohol and/or drugs, both areas need to be addressed for long term recovery.
