Adolescent/Young Adult Recovery Programs & Services

Addiction Rehab Programs for Teens and Young Adults

ADOLESCENT/YOUNG ADULT RECOVERY

Addiction affects people of all ages. Substance abuse disorders and mental health difficulties are unfortunately very prelevant among our youth. Many children are exposed to alcoholism and drug addiction at home with their parents and other family members. Recovering adults frequently report their early experiences with alcohol and drugs happened at home.

Young adults, ages 18-25, are vulnerable to peer pressure, trends and availability of alcohol and recreational drugs. Many high schools, colleges and universities have education, prevention and counseling programs for substance abuse issues. There are treatment centers and outpatient programs  with specialized tracks or entire curriculums for adolescents (11-17) or young adults (18-25).
