Recovery involves healing and restoration on all levels but is a unique, highly-individualized process.  The spiritual component of the disease of addiction and the recovery process is addressed by most recovery programs. Specialized resources and meetings are available for those who have non-denominational spiritual practices in addition to affiliations with religious institutions or denominational preferences.
